Balenciaga in film/television

I've been watching Elementary (huge sherlock Holmes fan) and am fairly certain this is a Balenciaga in the background...or it looks like one.
Or i have Balenciaga on the brain

I see the similarities, but no, unless it’s a model I’ve not seen before. The one I do remember was a silver metallic First, or maybe City, in The Devil Wears Prada, on a side table in a scene in which Andy was dressed to go out. More recently the lead character in, Inventing Anna, carries a black Velo in several scenes. It is fun to catch them when they do pop up.

It just sits on a table and you never see a close up, however the hardware stood out. And given some of Lucy Liu's fab wardrobe on the show it wouldn't have shocked me either way.
I'm only on season 2.. .who knows what else I may find

Reviving this thread because I noticed Jennifer Grey’s character in A Real Pain was carrying her Velo throughout the film. Sorry it’s not the best image. Great movie btw!

Is this a good show? Elementary? Isnrhat the title? I love Sherlock Holmes..especially the old ones like. Hound of the Baskervilles with Basil and protective of Agatha's invention.

I Love Elementary. It is in New York, Johny Lee Miller is as always amazing, Lucy Liu is Dr Watson and they have pretty good stories , the house where they live is stunning and both of them carry the series well. Not standard stories though but interesting link and take on usual Sherlock characters. I do prefer Benedict and Martin Freeman series but it is somewhat darker , this version is a lighter version in my opinion

I just watched this movie so adding some more pics (sorry low quality) of Jennifer Grey’s Velo. This did a great job of embodying all the characters through their wardrobes.

Been rewatching the series YOUNGER since it hit Netflix. Some great clothes & bags in that show. In Season 6 (2019), Hillary Duff’s character Kelsey carried a graffiti City in at least 2 eps
