Balenciaga clutch & strap

Hi, I'd like to know more about balenciaga clutches and shoulder straps. I've noticed some clutches have them and some don't. What does that depend on? Style, year?

yes, Envelope varies, some do, some don't have the strap, regardless of the hardware

To be honest i didn't study this particular question, but i know for sure it does not define authenticity, both can be equally legit, subject to all markers to comply with authentic ones.

From what I know, the strap was added to clutches in later years, may be 2012-2013 and later?
