Great thread, I'm only 21, but I'm helping my mom find the perfect purse that suits her age (she's been toting the choc chloe paddy I gave her). Fantastic idea! Will surely look out for some pics

I'm not 40+ yet, but I love this thread! It inspires me to see these women with such a commanding presence and sense of style. I aspire to be that way... hey, maybe by the time I'm 40, I'll be there!

I can't believe I just found this thread, great idea. I am 52 and I pretty much carry what I want to, but it is nice to see pics of women over 40. There are so many classy older women that have great syle.

First of all, 50 is the new 40 and 40 is the new 30 - older women don't look like older women any more - My posiiton (and I'm way over 50) is that if I'm attracted to the bag and it fits my personal syle, it will be mine. My last 2 bags are a YSL "downtown" in black patent and a Marni "shopper" in caramel. I love, love, love these bags.

As another 40+ 'er(41), I am glad to see all these fab women with their gorgeous bags. I do sometimes wonder if my bag (whichever one I am using at the time) is age appropriate for me. I just remind myself not to worry about it and to use what I love.

I turned 45 in Feb. and quite frankly I am somewhere between the practical choice of Coach and the workmanship of LV and Bottega Veneta. I am truly glad someone gave us 40+ a forum. Thank you.
