Its a 9 carat sterling silver emerald cut amethyst ring. I've loved this ring ever since it came out but I've always wanted one
with a slightly darker amethyst. One finally came in and I managed to get it
Very excited. Couldnt stop admiring it all day..

Here are some pics with flash. Its a really deep vibrant purple.
Thats my absolutely favourite colour... it also reflects the light so beautifully.

I've been doing some research on amethysts and its believed to be a stone of protection- said to protect its wearer against seduction, drunkenness and injury. Furthermore, it allegedly neutralises negative energy.

Sounds like a useful ring to have around!

haha I'm really clumsy so any protection against injury will be a plus for me. Furthermore, its quite apt that it protects against drunkenness, since its a cocktail ring.
