I'm looking for one similar to the Alexa straps. I'd quite like to wear my daria hobo cross body when i'm in london and shopping

eBay have some good straps. Also Etsy have different straps and can make them. Some have had lovely guitar type straps from there. I did see a couple on eBay the other day

Hi ladies,
I've somehow misplaced the strap for my oak Alexa - I'm really annoyed at myself!
I've just emailed Mulberry customer services but I fear i will have to send my bag off to get a new strap which I really don't want to do!
Does anybody know the approximate cost of a new strap and how long this will take?

Best if I share my latest experience and you can deduce/get an idea how it might work for you....
12/19/2012. I first contacted Mulberry San Francisco about a replacement strap for my Edie ... The Edie came with a guitar-strap look-a-like, not adjustable. I really wanted an adjustable strap.
01/22/2013 received the strap via FedEx.
A few email exchanges, a call for payment, turnaround time might have faster but take into consideration it was holiday season..Boxing Day in UK and San Fran had to contact UK and give time for time zone difference, take also time off by my SA.
I had to email a picture of my Mulberry Edie per their request so they can "closely match the strap to the handbag"
I took this with a grain of salt and complied, no problem... I figured this is a diplomatic way of them making sure I do have the bag and not just wanting a strap.
Mulberry said they were unable to match the bag leather to a leather strap but I was fine with canvas strap so all is good.
The cost was 65GBP about $105 at that time. Leather would cost more I think.
I've purchased a canvas strap before to replace the strap of Mulberry Martha, around 2007-08 <?> not sure...cost $75 so I knew to contact them for my Edie.

I got a response saying a new strap would be £102 inclusive of VAT... I think I'll look a little harder first ha!
I can't believe it, my bag is only a few months old!

There are sometimes spare straps advertised on ebay, usually somewhere around the £50 mark Kirsten, there have been fakes, so if you decide to opt for this, it would be worth putting it on the authentication thread first...
There are some "similar" to Mulberry ones on currently....

I got the same quote for a replacement Rosemary strap. Must be the magic number.
I went to the flagshipstore in my town and ordered a new singlestrap to one of my shoulderbags, after it got chewed on by a cat (yes, it is true) and I payed about 100 pound a few years ago. The store had to order it from the factory so it took a while before I got it.
