How often do you rotate your bags? I have quite a substantial collection but find myself using the same few bags. I'm weird in the sense that I tend to use the bags that I don't love so much (I love all my bags so that is actually strange) and keep the ones 'I absolutely' love for special occasions.

Do you air the bags that you don't use? I hear from the SA that they turn mouldy if you don't use and start to smell. Once that happens, the smell is impossible to get rid of.

A few of my SLG has the 'smell' so I'm now making a real point to use and rotate all the bags.

I rotate them based on my outfit and wether I am wearing gold or silver (so I will use the bag with either SHW or GHW) or whether I have "forgotten" about some and then bring them back to life - and they are like new to me  Similarly to you, I also use the bags I love the most only for special occasions (perhaps not to hurt them:lawl: or wear them out...) I don't air my bags as I do not keep them tucked in for too long (3-4 months max.)

I rotate everyday and still they are some which remain unused. I do air them though as you said and store them in their dustbags and in a closed which doesn't touch an outside wall so as to avoid humidity issues. However, in summer I had stored my Emilie wallet like that, in the dustbag and in the box. When I took it out last month I found the slots for the cards turned out and really dry almost ready to crack. I showed it to my SA and he immediately replaced it. I bought this wallet three years ago and had been using it ever since until I got it in Azur in June. I hope my Azur doesn't get the same problem as I have stored it to use the mono they gave me now.

I don't think you're supposed to store in the box. That's probably why it dried out.

I rotate handbags and wallets once a week. On Sunday, I check the weather to see which goodie gets to come out this week.

I have all shapes and sizes and colors so this is one of my favorite times of the week.

Then, I wear all of the clothes that coordinate with that handbag. That way, I rotate my clothes also. I've worn more of my clothes since I became addicted to LV about a year ago.

Sure, its an expensive habit but it really does make me happy. I work hard for what I have, so everything gets in the rotation. :hbeat:

I usually end up carrying the newest one I got until the next new bag... It's a terrible habit that's caused all my older bags to suffer tears caused by severe dryness in the storage room. A lot of my bags have lost shape even when I stuff them! It's just terrible.. I think I just get sick of every bag really quickly. I wonder what'll happen when I get my HG.

I do rotate but I think I need to do it more often I have quite a big collection of bags from brands I like.
I don't worry about it getting moldy. I have a whole home air purification system & I control the humidity.
I also moisturizer the leather when I store them away or start using a particular bag.

I rotate seasonally... So every 3-4 months.the bags stay out in the air for the entire season, then are stored in their dustbags in a ventilated, interior wall closet. I think i have a pretty solid roation going. The all season bags like speedy pailletes and eva are used so frequently that i dont feel bad when i put them away for a week or so! They need beauty rest.

Fall: mono alma, speedy paillettes, de eva
Winter: mono speedy 40 (for bad weather), mono alma, speedy paillettes, de eva
Spring: de eva, speedy paillettes, azur neverfull mm
Summer: de eva, yellow epi noé (for when ive piled on the sunscreen or am extra sweaty), azur neverfull mm, speedy paillettes

I try to rotate my purses but it's pretty hard because I keep buying new ones that I just wanna keep taking out all the time! I don't store my purses in their boxes, just in the dustbags, and I do air them out once a week.

If the bag can rotate I will try to though its hard sometimes like in the speedy and your used the Ipper to be on one side, alma is simpler
Bag that have been unused for a while, I let them breath the night before

I rotate based on the weather, what I'm wearing, where I'm going, who I'm going to see and my mood. So there's no set pattern to it. I store my bags without their dust bags on a long dresser in my bedroom so I get to see them every day.
