Bag insert/organiser for large/uomo cabat?

Hi everyone,

I am looking for an insert for my cabat and having a hard time finding anything suitable in the larger size.

I want something as light weight as possible since the bag already weighs enough empty. It should also provide some structure to keep it up right but mostly to keep all my stuff from rolling around. :)

My bag is calf so it is fairly stiff already. (Colour shadow)

Using pouches alone unfortunately is not an option as the bag is simply too big for that and still just swallows everything.

But a beautiful sight to behold nevertheless :)

Rough measurements, base 48x23 cm and height 33cm. (It follows similar measurements to the new large model just not as tall)

- Any advice on suitable insert in good quality? (Custom made might be the way to go here?)

Please also share any pics of organisers you use and if you’re happy with it?

I haven't gotten an organiser for mine yet, but this seems like it would suit?

That was the only one I saw but don’t like the zipper on the side and was hoping for some more options. Also if anyone has tried any. But it is on the short list if nothing better comes up :)

I just need an organiser to be able to make good use of the bag.

Fair enough. I think mine is so floppy that no organiser will save it haha.

Perhaps you might look up JennyKrafts on etsy - she does also customized ones and you can just tell her what you want. Never had a bad experiance and bought about 6 times from her - with some complicated special requests ;)

Samorga has great organizers for mini and mediums, but doesn’t do the large ones unfortunately.
I’ve purchased some nice organizers from Divide and Conquer on Etsy. I like the canvas fabric she uses, plus she puts a pu liner on the bottom, which is water proof and easy to wipe clean. She does special orders so this is a great option i think!

I've also purchased from Divide and Conquer on Etsy. I find her canvas organizers are more structured than the felt organizers from Samorga. That may be a plus with larger, more puddly Cabats.

Have they started doing custom orders again? I had a custom insert made for one of my Cervo Medium Totes a few years ago. When I went to order more, they told me they were no longer doing custom orders. That was in 2020 or 2021, so hopefully they have reversed that policy.

I believe so, a friend ordered one, maybe they got back into mode after 2020 delays!

Thanks everyone for the input. I just made the order for a custom insert from samorga. I look forward to sharing the result. Cost a small fortune so I really hope it fits nicely and the quality is as good as everyone says :)
