What Saint Laurent bag do you use for holiday at resorts to use for going out for dinner? Do you take a day to night bag, or small crossbody or evening bag?
I think good choices might be :
Toy Loulou
Kate
Small envelope
Lou camera bag

I’m sure there are others. Have any of you taken yours on holiday? How did it work out!
Need some inspiration

I use my YSL cassandra bag, mini size, black mock croc shiny leather in gold hardware.

I like it because:
- it's relatively spacious and can easily fit my phone, a large wallet, keys, car fob, lip stick, with a bit more room to spare.
- has a back pocket for any quick things like valet parking, receipts, cards etc.
- has feet, so I don't mind putting it down anywhere
- the mock croc is a treated leather, it may be a patent leather. That makes it durable and easy to clean. I've definitely dropped food on it before (it was actually bbq meat in a sauce) and just wiped it off with a napkin and some water.
- it is versatile and can be carried crossbody or handheld (but I bought the original one when it first came out, so the shoulder strap was not detachable. I have cut them off and only carry this hand-held. I had someone put detachable clips onto the remaining strap but I never use it.)

Some people find the clasp a little annoying. I don't mind it, and I actually like the mechanism because it's not that easy to pickpocket if someone assumes it's just a regular magnetic clasp or something.

Thank you so much for your reply, it is very helpful. I had never considered this bag, just had to google it. It is beautiful and also sounds very versatile. I will need to see and try on in store.

I’ve used my YSL uptown clutch
/pouch for nightwear during a beach holiday. On cruises, I’ve used my LV Felicie since it can be worn crossbody.
I have an empreinte Felicie. I think it’s beautiful and I love it, but it doesn’t fit much. I suppose you don’t need to carry much when going to dinner on holiday so it could work.
I have been thinking of adding a YSL clutch in a lighter colour for summer trips.

I travel every few months, and always take crossbody bags that can transition from day to evening. My small Loulou and Lou camera bag are wonderful travel bags, in that they’re light, spacious, and versatile.
I like these because they can hold a bit more. What colour is your small Loulou and Lou Camera?
