Bag charms - do they always have date codes?

I recently bought a transatlantic bag charm in DE from a very reputable UK preloved agency. I’ve only just been told that it should have a date code. It most definitely doesn’t! Nowhere on the hardware and not stamped on the back.
I’ll be gobsmacked if it’s not authentic though! Do some bag charms not have date codes?

It should be blind-stamped into the red leather on the backside. Top-left maybe?

Nope nothing there at all. I’ve used a magnifying glass and a torch. I did a search on here and one of the authenticators has said that not all charms have codes?!

It should be there like that. Very subtle.
And it is also mentioned by this lovely YouTuber, she got the exact same model:

Yes I know where it should be but it’s most definitely not there

Why don't you just ask them to authenticate it here? Or are you looking for the code to get it authenticated?
I don’t like to ask for free authentication if I’m wasting their time with no date code. I’ve paid for authentication this morning and awaiting an answer.
