I'm suppose to be on a bag ban for a year. I got a Chanel jumbo flap in Jan. But my fav color is light pink and all these beautiful pink bags are just too much for me to take! So I narrowed it down. I love this Michael Kors bagImageUploadedByPurseForum1426592963.674173.jpg the only problem is the pink is really bubble gummy, at least on the one they had on display. I can go back and see if they have others. It's really beautiful in this color ImageUploadedByPurseForum1426593058.365389.jpg. So much so I can't stop thinking about it. This is nice tooImageUploadedByPurseForum1426593095.031434.jpg. Of the three I probably like the blue the best but it would be a hard sell because it is not pink. I also saw this Elizabeth and James ImageUploadedByPurseForum1426593174.341740.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1426593190.689184.jpg the true color is somewhere between the two pics. It is smaller than the MK, and probably fits my needs the best as an everyday knock around bag. I also like this Tory Burch, a small satchelImageUploadedByPurseForum1426593303.449824.jpg. Help!!! Which one would you pick??? Have to decide soon!

Sorry, that came out a bit scrambled. What I was saying about the MK is the blue is my fav of the three colors which does not fit my want of a pink purse. I should of asked if they had other pinks in the back because the one on display did not look like the one in pic. TIA

why would you buy a blue bag if the reason for breaking a bag ban is because you want a pink bag?

This is a classic case of buying for the sake of buying - and worse not even buying the bag you really want (which currently doesn't exist). Why not wait for the bag that fully meets your needs before you buy? Because even after you buy that blue bag, you're still going to want a pink one.

Nope not really. Probably will buy the Eluzabeth and James which pretty much meets my needs, as I said. Probably wasn't clear, new to MK, was more wondering if there is inconsistencies in their leather per dye lots. But the blue is one of the prettiest bags I've seen in a while and I have been sorry in the past when I've passed on that kind of bag cuz next I'll be looking for blue and this bag will come to mind. The Tory Burch would also work. Like all three, that's why I asked for thoughts. The bag that I really really want is the Mansur Gavreil light pink bucket that is impossible to get. Believe me I don't buy to buy. Not at any price point, not for any item, I work to hard for my money.

I would get the blue MK. It looks like a beautiful bag. I love blue like you love pink. And if you can use it, you would have your beautiful bucket bag.

Sometimes the perfect bag in the perfect color does not work. I would wait for a pink bag in a design that compliments the leather. It doesn't have to be the bucket bag. Something like a small SDJ could be gorgeous in pale pink. Do you have other pink bags to hold you over?

I think if you wait and watch, you'll find other pink bags that you love more. It took me more than a year to find my perfect black tote, but it finally got made. :smile1: And my perfect black small bag with neutral hardware took more like 3 years to find.

So if you know you love the blue mk bucket, I would grab it. It's more about the bag itself than the specs (as long as you would use the bag enough).

EDIT: Did you see this one? It's called oleander pink and it looks like it has silver hardware.

I think Bloomingdales also had one in sky which is a lighter blue with silver hardware.

Oops - bad review on nordstrom. I may skip mk:

The blue one I like is the sky, and it is TDF. You solved my problem with the pink MK. I didn't realize that there were two pinks. I would love the Oleander but I think it's pretty impossible to find. The sky showed up at my Bloomingdales yesterday, wasn't there two days ago, so it's either a return or maybe (fingers crossed) they're getting the spring colors in now and the oleander will come in. I'll have to go back and ask. The oleander and sky are def in the same color tone if you know what I mean, that real soft creamy color. I wasn't looking for a bucket but they seem to be what's catching my eye. The MK wasn't really what I had in mind though. I wanted something easy for summer that I could just throw around and not worry about, but the leather on the MK is just beautiful and it is hard for me to walk away from a gorgeous bag. Thanks for your thoughts, I totally agree when you see something that you love you should grab it though because the bags that I still kick myself about are the ones I passed on. Don't even ask about the vintage black kelly, ugh. Oh well, stay posted. I'm really not suppose to but till April (bday present), so maybe something else will become available. That Tory Burch one isn't in stores yet, only in black, so maybe that will be a good one.
