Hi Ladies and Gents!
Coach was me dipping my toe into "designer" bags. Then I became disenchanted went away from them for YEARS and now am back with a vengance due to my love for the Parker 16 backpack (thanks to LuxPurseLove on youtube for drawing me back to the brand)
I had my backpack customized (and I carry it more as a crossbody) and like any good purse addict I want MOARRRRR.
I am currently debating/stalking/plotting purchasing either a leopard dinky or a Dreamer 21 (I'm a small-ish bag girl). In your opinion, which would you purchase? I kind of love the kisslock Dreamer but also found a metallic ivy one that has me drooling.
Those of you that own either or - what are your opinions? I carry a small wallet/ long card case, small pouch, keys, sunnies and maybe 2 lip products.
Thanks in advance for your opinions!

I own 2 Dinkys but I am also interested in the Dreamer 21. I tend towards smaller bags now and whilst the Dreamer is not for me, I love the look and size of the Dreamer 21. I did purchase one in the sale but returned it...regretting it a little now though haha.

In my opinion, the Dreamer 21 would hold a little more due its shape. Whilst you may be able to fit a small wallet into the Dinky (depending on the size) you would have to be strategic in how you place items.

I know I would be tetris-ing things in the dinky, but I do try to keep what I carry pretty slim. I was actually able to place a coach zip around wallet in my Vuitton Pochette Accessories in addition to a number of other things. I'm a bit more drawn to the dinky as I like slim bags.

What are you able to fit in your dinkies?

LOL. I watch her too and I decided to purchase an all white Cassie. I was already planning the purchase and she and a few other YT tipped me over. I am all about American brands and was/is a big Coach and DB fan. The European luxury houses are taking all my money and I cannot afford to keep purchasing bags every year. Anyway, back to Coach. I enjoyed my shopping experience in the store. I even had them hot stamp the luggage tag on Cassie for free. Once I clean out my bags, I might pick up the Tabby. I don't know much Dreamer and Dinky. I'm a bigger gal so I would opt for Dreamer. Perhaps the Dinky is better on your frame. Good luck!

I love all brands, however amazing quality 8s at the top of my list. I've purchased vintage Louis and Gucci. I LOVE THEM, and even used one vintage Gucci all over Lindon when I was there this spring. However much like vintage cars, you need to be careful how much they are played with.
I did get a few "designed in the UK" bags when I was there, I've just been drawn to the more modern changes coach is making (dreamer) along with their heratige (dinky). And their leather quality and craftsmanship have MASSIVELY improved. I saw and tried on a dinky at the outlet and was amazed at how well constructed and soft it was....so I'm leaning towards Dinky (for this hour at least )

I would pick the smallest Dreamer (21, I think?) over the Dinky because the Dreamer has a zip opening which I prefer over flaps, and the mini Dreamer can fit items far more comfortably than the Dinky. I wish the Dreamer didn't have the handles, though (again, something I dislike but I am picky).

I, like you, an absolute minimalist- I carry my phone, a tiny bifold wallet (3.5"x4") and my keys. Nothing else in my bag most days. Yet I would still prefer the room to manouver that the Dreamer would provide, in case I want to keep some tissues or lip balm with me. The Dinky needs tetris-ing as you say and I don't want to be fussing with my purse.

If you can get to a store it would be much easier to decide. Carry both and see which style feels better in your hands, which style feels more "you". Ask yourself which one can you picture using all the time.

It's a win-win because they're both great bags in their own way, so whichever you choose will be great.

Edit to add: I'd seen that metallic ivy Dreamer in store a while ago, and it is really stunning, and much softer leather than I expected. Not sure how well metallic leathers keep...it would be good to research that if you decide to get that one (will it peel, can it be repaired if scratched, etc.).

I have about 6 dinkys and I totally love them, however over time the flap gets a bit in the way and I hate creasing on the glove tanned leather so it takes more work to get into. I just bought a dreamer 21 and love it! It holds waaay more in case I don’t feel like playing purse Tetris or want to pack hand sanitizer.

I didn’t notice the kiss lock till after buying mine but I’m definitely eyeballing it!

Thanks in advancIMG_20190730_140025.jpg e for your opinions!
I have a dinky and i love it!! But, it is very small and holds the bare essentials. I put my phone in the front pocket, and it doesn't distort it too much. My wallet is pretty chunky, so a thin card case might give you enough room for a small pouch, but i don't think you'll be able to fit the sunglasses! Hope this helps!

Actually that is MASSIVELY helpful! Thank you! I carry a *little* more than that on the daily. Thing is I can't get the leopard dinky off the brain! I also think the dreamer is super cute so perhaps I'll just save and get both...and of course a card case to fit in the dinky  a dreamer one perhaps?:giggle:

Usually I carry a small wallet, cards, keys, lipstick and phone. I usually carry it on days I can travel light. I don't think you will be able to fit a sunglasses case however.

The Dinky and the Dreamer 21 are both cute bags - I want to get a Dreamer 21 in the future! I think it depends on your usage and preference if you have to choose one of them.

I didnt notice the part about sunglasses, definitely wont be able to fit sunglasses unfortunately. Imo the space issue is so bad because of the kiss lock inside. I kind of just use that as a wallet/card holder so I can have the rest of the space for easentials

I just submitted an offer for the Dinky in Leopard Haircalf. DH will probably kill me - however it is the only one on ebay and I've been staring at it for a week straight. It's so rock and roll looking and up my alley!
Fingers crossed:panic:
