Just got back a few hours ago. I'm exhausted, but I know I will be busy for the next few days and I promised the guys I would post. While I was in Zurich, I stopped by to visit the Luxury shop run by Pete and Mario, who are known on ebay as Luxury-Zurich. I saw a lot of their Hermes items - all authentic. A few items were already sold, including a 28 croc kelly - beautiful. The enormous bolide, 47 I believe, was there. All beautiful and in amazing condition. They have very lucky clients who hand over barely used items to them for consignment, and then I guess equally lucky customers get to buy those at an attractive price. Super nice guys too!

The Bahnhof St. Hermes boutique had a small orange bolide, and a 32 rigide vache liegee noisette kelly for 7,600chf (roughly 6,280 U.S. dollars but then you get to subtract some for the VAT).

I'm going to collapse now. :amuse:

Glad to hear you had a nice time in Zürich! It's a very pretty city.

my purchases excluded hermes, but included chocolates and other very nice treats (you were right about the rain, but forgot to mention the lovely umbrellas they sell as a result, or a response to that climate. i bought a beautiful full-size - won't fit in any bags though, like yours do :P ). i can't say i've ever seen so many fake hermes bags in one city, in one week, being carried. and longchamp is on every single arm. interesting.

Longchamps are big in Switzerland.

Oh, actually if walk during Saturdays at the area where Hermès is, you'll see quite a few Hermès bags. I've seen croc Birkins and Kellys being carried around there often.

Thanks for the info! Glad you had a nice trip - did you bring chocolate to share hiheels???!!! I mean, we all share our champagne.....come one! It is nice to hear about LZ - since I am one of their buyers! They ship so quick it amazes me! Now go rest...

Thank you so much for sharing with us. I appreciate that!

I always look on their Ebay auctions...nice to know they are good people. You just never really know with ebay.

kellybag, believe me, i'm the first one to say, don't take any risks, just buy from the boutique, wait the wait and have that security. but i dragged my husband and daughter through various winding streets and alleys, and we found the shop just before closing, and they warmly welcomed us in, and even showed us their back closet of recent arrivals, and stayed on quite a bit late to talk with me. they had nothing to hide as far as i could see.

La Van - I saw a few genuine bags, but just dozens of fakes, every day. I think the people are quite taken with the kelly and birkin styles, and I think they mean it as a compliment, in choosing these bags. I think most americans aren't as exposed to hermes that they would seek out a fake, as opposed to LV, for example. :flowers:

HiHeels - did you go to Café Schober? Bought any Sprüngli chocolates?

we did go, and it was nice, but Sprungli was better!

yes, shoes, brought home tons of chocolate, 4 tins, to be exact, and probably not enough at that. and a few nice clothing items for myself. no hermes, but i was determined to visit LZ. i have hermes boutiques in the US, but i wanted to see if LZ could be another option in the future. and i know people here have mentioned them, so i wanted to take advantage of the weird coincidence that of all places, i was going to one where there was a reseller located, and check them out for everyone.
okay, the computer screen is starting to get fuzzy...

oh, one more thing- brought my clemence bag and talk about durable. i opened up a tube of my favorite lip balm on the plane and due to cabin pressure, a glob shot out and landed... where else. anyway, i rubbed it in a little and my bag is probably happier for it.
