The red even though its a beautiful color was just too bold for me. The steel will go with more things in my wardrobe.

Happy Birthday and congrats on your present! You are sooo lucky to be a train ride away for NY! I am on the west coast in CA, and I LOVE NYC! I went there for the first time 2 years ago when my husband was there on business. We had a apartment (completely paid for) in Hoboken, NJ for 3 months. My daughters and I miss it soooo much! Unfortunately, I was not into Balenciaga at the time we had the apartment.
I have heard from gals here on the pf that seeing the outside of the Balenciaga store for the first time is always a shock!
Congrats again, and please share pics when she arrives.
Beware, once you have one there is no cure for Balenciaga fever, except to buy more, of course!
