Last night I attended Louis Vuitton Casino Night in LV store in Lisbon in order for they to launch and promote the new Damier Graffique line... and I must say that the night was just wonderfull!

The store lights were very low and it was playing jazz music to give it that casino look... Meanwhile there were waiters all around the party with Moet and some little "hors-doeuvres" and some other light foods... The store was not to crowded so everyone got the chance to play at the tables (although some of us [aka me] started with $500 and ended up with something like $25) :sweatdrop:. The person who had more "LV money" at the end of the night won a Damier Graffique travel bag (I didn't see the bag so I don't know the exact model).

Most of the people there ended up buying something... I saw many people buying damier wallets and sunglasses (like I intended too but the model I wanted was already sold out) :crybaby:. I ended up buying a black Damier graffique tie and my sister bought a Damier canvas mini pochette accessories.

The funniest part of the evening was when a man was wearing the same sneakers that I was wearing (Monogram Denim Footing sneakers). When he saw my sneakers he said something like "I can't believe it", took is guest by the hand and went way from the store... (Personally I think that it was a "bit" excessive but then again we are all different...).

Well, I just wanted to share a great evening with all of TPF members

Aww, you're so lucky! Congrats!! Sounds like a such an amazing event. I'm entirely jealous. The Damier Graphite stuff must have looked so amazing, are you will willing to share pics of your purchases? I would love to see what your tie looks like. :amuse:

Sounds like you had a great time !! And what is the new line btw ? Where can I find more detail about it ? Damier Graffique... It seems quite strange to me

To be honest, the new line is better in pictures than in real life... You can see pictures of it at e-luxury. I had a few pieces in my hands and it simple wasn't my cup of tea (but then again I'm more of a fan of the classic Damier) :sweatdrop:

Haha the man left because you guys were wearing the same sneakers? Thats a bit ridiculous. I mean, you really have to expect that somebody might wear the same thing as you to one of these events.... Otherwise it sounds like a wonderful event. I hope you had lots of fun!

Here you have some pictures of the tie... Sorry for the poor quality of the images but it was the only way to get them to fit TPF file sizes... :sweatdrop:

BTW, I only realise not that I wrote wrong the name of the line . Sorry everyone, I probably wrote it once this way and never botter to check if it was the correct spelling... Must be the remains of the Moet of yesterday  So please forgive me and please instead of Graffique read Graphite.
