Good Morning & TGIF!

About four years ago I began longing to add a re-issue to my collection. I told myself if I was going to go for it- I wanted to try and find the anniversary bag from 2005. I was able to find it and have had it in my closet this whole time, too afraid to send to Leather Surgeons.

Last month I finally sent the bag out for some spa service, repair to a damaged link in the chain, and authentication of course. They also added back a little structure.

It took a little over a month but it’s back safely and the whole process was extremely easy- I would definitely recommend their services.

Let me know if you have any questions!

I'm glad they did a good job. It's a beautiful, iconic bag, so glad it's in your hands.

Gorgeous. I got a quote for my bag and it seemed high. Can you share how much this cost? This is my bag.

Leather Surgeons truly are magicians. I haven’t used them for anything CHANEL, but have used them for multiple Hermes bags and they’ve performed magic. And to me at a virtual bargain of $300 and change. Many of the top resellers use them as well, including Madison Avenue Couture.

I don't mean to bump this old thread, but I love your bag! Could you possibly tell me the name of the bag?
I think this is the square WOC! I have it in iridescent pink. You can fit quite a lot into it as it has quite wide double gussets, rather than the single gusset on the rectangular WOC! I don’t have it at capacity in the attached picture, but I don’t generally need more space for a light weekend bag, so it’s great!! 7C21EF9F-A78D-49A2-B541-069CDF6E1120.jpeg

Good to know thank you, my white Caviar classic flap literally has yellow glue leaking out the seams, needs help!

Just got my metallic reissue back from repair at Leather Surgeons and I’m so pleased. Placed the bag on a chair at a cafe last year without looking and something on the chair got on my bag and the color came off - not sure what it was because I didn’t notice it until an hour later although suspect it might have been hand sanitizer or some alcohol product :crybaby:Read good things about Leather Surgeons and decided to give them a try even though I was nervous about shipping my bag off to them! So glad I did.

Here’s the before and after -

Yes I recall reading about that here :) I think this forum was how I came across them and so glad I did. Here’s hoping that their workmanship lasts the test of time!
