Hi- I am very interested in the Saint Laurent Baby niki bag in black. I'm trying to decide on the hardware- either the antique gold vs the blackish silver. What color jewelry /accessories do you typically wear? What vibe are you going for? I think gold a bit dressier and silver a bit more casual/edgy. The black on black edgy cool vibe and would be my pick.
I have a black-on-black YSL envelop bag. Got it in 2017 and still going strong.
Just FYI, the black paint will chip over time.
YSL generally has a 2 year warranty for repairs if bought in boutiques.
After that, cost of re-painting/re-plating is approximately $200 USD depending on how much work needs to be done.
