B Makowsky??

On a random impulse, I bought a B Makowsky on ebay today. I have never seen one IRL. Does anyone have one? Is the leather nice? It looked like it was, but you never know.....

B Makowsky is the husband of Kathy Van Zealand. I see his bags quite a bit in Macy's and Dillards and have heard they are good quality. The ones I've seen in person seemed nicely made as well. Hope it works out for you!

I see them at Dillards all the time. I haven't purchased one, but they look very nice.

I owned a couple and they were very nice. I liked the designs and colors. The only drawback for me was that the bags were heavy by itself. After awhile carrying the bag plus my stuff, my shoulders got sore.

I bought one at Nordstroms and I get lots of complements on it. It is my kick around bag. It is durable!

Durable is a good word for what i was looking for on eBay. I want a bag that I don't have to worry about in the rain! Fingers are crossed that I actually like it!

I have three of his bags. Gorgeous leather. Great feel and colors. Well made. Great cell phone pocket on the back outside of all bags.

I've seen a few at Macy's, they seem to be pretty good quality (and not as flashy as Kathy VZ styles). What style did you get?

I hate it when people say this, but to be honest, I am not a fan. Too close to Kathy.

I almost got one that was pretty simple and the paisley lining was TDF. The leather quality on that one was very nice.

I've seen thesse at TJ Maxx quite a lot as well. They usually in the $100 range.
