Azur in the Rain

Has anyone ever taken their azur pieces out in the rain? I know vachetta can get watermarks. Is there anyone who has taken their azur pieces out in the rain? Or anyone who uses their azur pieces as an all weather and everyday bag? Looking to get an azur neverfull to use as an everyday piece.

Hello, I have 2 two Azur bags and use them only when it is really good weather.

Azur pieces contain vachetta leather. You should never get it wet or risk water marks. If you're looking for an everyday NF I would suggest the ebene. I use mine daily and it holds up really well even in the rain because of the treated leather.

I agree with the prior answers, I don’t take my vacchetta pieces incl. DA pieces out in the rain. In the rain I only take my pieces with treated leather out, which don’t get watermarks.

I purchased an azur neverfull pre owned that wasn’t in perfect condition specifically because I wanted to use it without hesitation. It’s a white bag with untreated leather handles. It’s going to show wear. It’s all about your mindset. Here she is in all of her glory (pic not for the faint of heart )
Now my damier ebene neverfull looks almost exactly the same as she did when I bought her 4 years ago, just some softening.

Exactly! I have two azur pieces, both purchased pre owned as I didn’t want to be soo worried about sunscreen or water. I still try to be careful but I use them and love them much more than I might have otherwise.
