A friend of mine who was on a varsity team during my college time as a swimmer died tonight. My prayers and deepest condolences go out to her family and close friends.

Vlad and I went to the funeral today. It was the saddest thing. She was an amazing girl whose life will never be forgotten. I just wish she didn't have to go so soon. Please think of her and her family and friends and keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Never go to bed without telling the people you love and care for just that.

It was my first funeral procession that I ever attended. Passing away at such young age is simply the saddest thing there is. I completely lost it during the funeral, I experienced feelings that were unknown to me until that point. I can't still fully grasp it.
