Jess, I’m seeing a trend in fake Falabellas all saying FW14 and the font is off. I’m leaning towards saying this bag isn’t authentic. The logo stamp inside is barely visible. Check out the font on this white tag. We typically don’t see these types as were used to Falabellas but based on these 3 things I think it’s better to err on the side of caution with this bag.
I disagree. It is authentic. But I agree with not buying from someone who posts inaccurate tags. So, as I said to the buyer above, I would not buy from someone posting inauthentic tags.

On the other hand, if she wants to keep it, this bag is authentic. I had this bag. Frankly, I have never seen it faked well. The tags on this bag are aokay. The stamped logo is not visible in the pic because of the angle only. They are faint and pressed into the material.

It is a nice bag and the strap is awesome - love the strap on these bags. It is up to the buyer if she wants to keep it without the correct tags. She stated that the seller would send the corresponding tags as it was only a mix up. I will give her benefit of the doubt and a chance to produce the correct tags.

I’m glad you had this bag before so you have more knowledge about them. The wrong tag is sketchy but can be a simple mix up. The magnetic snap is thick the way it should be. Did this bag come out around 2014?

Not sure when it came out...but it is authentic. The wrong authenticity cards is very sketchy. I won't buy an authentic bag from someone who does this. The poster says the seller told her it was a mix up. I don't see how but let's give her the benefit of the doubt and see if she can provide the real authenticity cards.

It's a very nice crossbody...I wouldn't want the buyer to miss out on it because the seller didn't provide the tags. But it is her decision regarding what she is comfortable with. If she loves the bag, she can always pay a small fee to an authentication service to get another opinion. Since we disagree - it is a good idea to check with another opinion.

Stella McCartney is not very clear on the time line of her bags. Some articles say the Falabella came out in 2009 some in 2010. Then there is the date the lining changed from beige or black to pink. The date the embossing changed from printed into the material to more "engraved" logo on the pocket. I base it from when I personally remember seeing the changes.

It looks like a nice bag. I’ve only owned Falabellas from SM so I’m not as well versed in this style. I trust your opinion especially since you owned this crossbody. I keep the bags tags in the pockets so I’m not sure how one loses the correct tags either. As for the date code, looking at it again it looks ok. But I definitely have noticed fake Falabellas always say FW14. The mini and tiny weren’t even out yet in 2014.
Fashionphile rejected my hot pink small tote and offered $150 for my black foldover. So it’s a no brainer that I’ll be keeping them both! Eventually I’d like to sell the hot pink one because I don’t need 2 in the same color.

Given the issue with the incorrect tags and your indecision and the predominance of problems with FW14...I would err on the side of checking with a paid authenticator. As I said before, I personally wouldn't buy in such a situation even if the bag is authentic.

$150 for the foldover tote!!! Your foldover is gorgeous and in amazing condition. I sold mine - a few years ago - for $800. So $150 is crazy low. Any local by/sell groups in your area? It's good to sell in person as well.

Hi! Yeah I was pretty shocked at how low Fashionphile quoted my black foldover. I thought at least $250-$300. It’s almost insulting… That’s amazing you got $800 for yours. I think I might regret letting it go unless I get a decent price so for now it’s off the chopping block. This is what I do when I feel I have way too many bags. My hot pink small tote is also in excellent condition so I’m not sure why they rejected it. It might have a better chance selling in spring/summer. I’ve never sold anything on those local Facebook marketplace type sites. Is that what you’re referring to? If I could sell it locally that would be ideal. I once sold a small tote off eBay because the buyer lived close to me. I was shocked the eBay police didn’t see and ban me!

Yes, that's what I'm referring to. Don't you have a poshmark account? I'm too lazy to go back but I think that's what you posted. I'm sure this is the best option.

Hey, yes I do have a Poshmark account and sell on there. I’ve also sold bags and stuff on Mercari. The fees are less on Mercari than Poshmark so sometimes I prefer selling there. But the Poshmark audience is a little more style conscious and sometimes willing to spend more on designer stuff. I’m sure my black foldover will eventually sell but for now I just switched bags into it. It really is a beautiful bag. I’ll use it for a couple weeks then decide what I want to do. I really wanted to switch into the hot pink mini but I should wait until after the holidays for that one. Although I typically don’t match my bags to seasons. Although one of my baguettes is velvet so that one is definitely a winter bag. How often do you usually switch bags? I switch often because I like variety and by not overusing any bags it preserves them.

I don't know how often I switch bags...it depends on what I'm doing. I do match my bags to where I will be going - casual or more dressy.
