Authenticate this purse

I have a bag that looks very old. It has a GUCCI made in Italy stamp on the front. It has two zippers with segmented pulls that are quite heavy and not tarnished. There is a rectangle tab inside but no serial number. Except for a few scrapes on the leather at the very bottom of the edge on the side it is in very good shape. Can you please tell me if it is authentic and when it was made.
