Hey lovely authenticators, can you help take a look at this bag?

Item Name (if you know it): N/A
Seller: A local reseller
Comments: It looks like a mini version of PS1? The brand tag seems to be in a weird shape compared to other listings I can find online. Was this ever used at some point?

Thank you so much!!

Hi. This is very, very fake. Yes, the tag is wrong, but also all of the other things - lining, hardware, logos, even the very shape of the bag. Take it back and return it. I don't know exactly what country you're located in, but in most places, it's illegal to sell counterfeit merchandise, regardless of whether or not the seller knew it was counterfeit.

Thank you soooo much for the quick reply! It's a bummer since they insisted this was authentic when I asked... I will let them know.

Do you mind reviewing this backpack too? I saw this listing online and asked the seller for more pictures. They sent me a video and I took some screenshots. Also the hardware seems to be badly tarnished though... Can those be restored based on your experience?

You're welcome!
As for the backpack, I really don't know these, and you're missing photos of the logo and made in stamp inside and the fabric tag in the pocket (if there is one). But the state of hardware is really strange, it's not supposed to tarnish so much.

Hoping for @Elliespurse and @IntheOcean help in authenticating this purple PS1 Medium bag 🫶
It would be awesome if someone can mention which colour is this?

I am waiting for the seller to get back to me with more pictures. Can you also help authenticate this bag? This one seems okay to me but want to double check with you and Ellie!

Hello, please could I ask @IntheOcean or @Elliespurse or to look at this PS1 bag I have just purchased off Ebay. I have wanted one of these bags in the brown tan colour for ever, but they are usually so expensive, even preloved. This one does not have any interior labels, cloth or leather, with a serial number, it did not come with any authenticity cards, dustbag etc. It did however come with 2 missing rivets ( not mentioned on the Ebay listing!). Please could you tell me if you think it is authentic or not, as I really want to love it. Many, many thanks.

Hi! I think it's authentic. The absence of the cloth tag with the serial number is fine, those came way later. This bag is one of the earliest models, which is why it's so "relaxed", to put it mildly. In addition to the lost screws, it's also missing the hangtag. In those first years, the hangtags used to be attached in a way that made them easy to lose, which is what happened here.

In my opinion, it's not worth 200 GBP. Brown color is relatively easy to come by.

Thank you very much for your super fast reply. I know what you mean about super relaxed ( saggy and rather worn ) I haven't seen many in this colour for this price, but I will think about what you have said and look around a bit. I think I may be able to smarten it a bit if I stick with it
