Yes! that is what I called a black squiggle ... love my tech talk LOL
Thank you MT! I got the A Contre Courant. And I did look at some of my older scarves with white tags, and indeed those black squiggly things are there. I would never have noticed otherwise. Who knew?!?Yes! that is what I called a black squiggle ... love my tech talk LOL
The letters on the tag are sewn in black thread, which is cut off, and (supposedly) neatly coiled behind the tag, rather than snipped short or just dangling, If snipped short they would pull loose
The white tag, under bright lights will show the black threads behind , I had to look at one of mine in the sunshine to see the black squiggles, it was not obvious under normal lighting
You can carefully turn over a sewn tag, and you will see the threads, I suggest using fine nose tweezers and a light touch

Comments: There is no care/contents tag & there are fine white lines here and there in the design at the edges, and some lines look offset (like the black lines)? I'm not sure how to describe it, I tried to take pictures. There's also numerous lighter spots on the wrong side of the blue border at top (not visible from the right side but I still wasn't happy to see it); I wasn't sure if it was just discoloration of some kind.
I'm a scarf novice so I'm not certain if I'm just scrutinizing it too much, but I'd really appreciate any insight on the quality if possible. I received another scarf which I'm certain is authentic by feel/look, whereas this one has me second guessing for some reason.

Comments: seller has no history of selling Hermes last I checked and there are high fidelity fakes of this design. Seller has two in BNIB condition.
I will try and ask for them. Which ones should I ask for? Copyright? What else? Thank you much!Better photos are needed for an authentication.
The photo of the flat scarf is too small , something larger or 4 photos of each quadrant. The photos of the flat scarf should be adequate to verify the claims of condition - can you see everything ? This is a super busy design - which can hide a world of flaws - are the photos good enough to see any extra wrinkles, spots etc.I will try and ask for them. Which ones should I ask for? Copyright? What else? Thank you much!
