Thank you very much! It doesn’t instil a great deal of confidence when the seller doesn’t even get the size right but I guess what matters is that the scarves are authentic :flowers:
wrong size is a chronic issue on Vestiaire … I don’t know why … the categories they let you choose from ? A lot of the scarves have confusing / wrong sizes

Thank you! :flowers: As you can see I’m already in winter/Christmas mode  Can’t wait to receive the Neige d’antan & this Joies d’hiver one!

Still on my list are De Passage a Moscou & Noel au Faubourg although these are either very hard to find or rather unreasonably priced… :-s
I am not sure it matters in this case - since those two are already stratospherically priced ...
But, a hint, if you are searching for something - paradoxically it is good to be quiet about it, or at least not post publicly eg in this thread about your want list
It is amazing how prices get even higher when mentioned at TPF, prices for even the sleeper designs sky rocket

And finally, there exist extremely good versions of NOEL and MOSCOW, mentions will have everyone trotting out their fakes hoping to score $700, a long shot but well worth it, given the market prices for those
And yes prices for those go up before Christmas, February is a good time to look for one:smile:

I ditto ( and then square it lol) what @marietouchet said. A couple of weeks ago a scarf was modeled on here. An old one, like a sleeper, like she mentioned. Lots of compliments. And within 24 hours I saw that exact same scarf get ‘ended’ early on evilbay and relisted at $100 more!! It’s those practices that make it so easy for me to have the hardline that I will never pay insane over retail for a grail!! Never!! I refuse to give resellers that markup money. So off I go on the hunt for longer, waiting for that special sane reseller haha.

Thanks for the anecdote ..:smile:

Hello, I hope this post follows the rules, if not, please advise! Thanks
I found this amongst my mother's scarves. Supposedly it is a Cours a Chantilly pattern, but as you can see, the pattern is repeated. The scarf is plisse, so I cannot easily spread it out for a better photo. I can not find any info on a repeated pattern like this, so I am wondering if it is a legitimate issue?

I pretty sure that this design was never produced in the cashmere silk format!

Item:Hermès
Fleurs de Giverny Cashmere Shawl

Item # HER352107
Seller: Real/Real
Link: https://www.therealreal.com/product...hermes-fleurs-de-giverny-cashmere-shawl-b2xbt
I no longer have the hubris to think I love exactly what Hermes made - too many …
suffice it to say, I have no records of such a size
AND
the size is cited as 51 in approx, ie 3 in too short , about 10 cm , and fakes tend to come in 130 cm
