You have to know that Gucci don't authenticate they items ,also you need to know exact era and model of the bag which I believe 90% of people don't know,this seems very old model I would say in middle and late eighties last century, Gucci got different model and code stamps,so as far I can see from this photos you got absolute bargain , seems that seller didn't knew what he or she are selling as price must be at least 200 pounds,as far as I know but I know Gucci very very well this is middle eighties,code is absolute fine and everything with this bag. Be aware that lots of Gucci bags coming from Turkey these days and they don't have date code and serial numbers at all ,and weird design too,which Gucci never had.Gucci code doesn't have to be with numbers in two rows as old one like this one is one line or two with lines between the numbers and letters,also oldest Gucci bags doesn't coming at all with codes but numbers are usually within magnetic closure inside so you need to know how thy are going in order.It is sometimes shame that a lot so called experts only know last decade or two and they assume if something pop up for sale for era before and they haven't seen before for them is fake ....

Absolute perfect, you have two style of these early and late 90es belt/waist bags, you have with silver metal closure with Gucci engraved into zip closure and leather one without Gucci engraved into leather, code is absolute fine, late 90e got this smaller engraved numbers in two lines in but older bags got bigger numbers engraved into, one with metal zipper and Gucci engraved into are from early 90es, they are coming in different variation and colors,usually brown canvas or grey canvas ,with brown is brown leather with grey is black leather parts and different variation of front and back pockets,inside the bag depends again from model I would say 90% got Gucci engraved everywhere inside but as that time Gucci got 20 different factories sometimes color and variation depends from where bag is coming can be bit dark or just blank lining, you have to know really very well Gucci to make decision, but this one is perfect 100%
I'm interested in buying this vintage Gucci Dr. bag however as he seen the pictures one of the handles was loose and is connected to the bag hardware with a paperclip. I wonder if this could be repaired? I also would like to know if this is authentic.

If you ask me 101% fake.
In very short note I will tell you this : very similar model is made in early 70es in last century but I said similar not this one, this one is coming with control cards and they are fake and old models from that era never got the control cards and dust bag like this either, also serial number have to be in one row only from that period etc, this model was never ever made,two different colors of code tag with numbers which are engraved just random is disgusting, lining is fake etc .... do you need more? The bag is original 100% classic and classy Gucci vintage beauty,I have to tell you that you should have a long leather strap with this model as I cant see on the photos ,but legitimate 101% you got absolute crazy bargain,lucky you.

Similar model is made in 1985 but from leather,and different lining etc,also zipper must be metal with Gucci engraved into zipper in silver color,numbers are to small as for original bag made in that time are much bigger; etc etc ..... but this one is joke ....

They mixed up code with model so = fake,,code is similar for very similar bags made a long time ago and a fake engraved logo too but than they made zipper in leather which is wrong for this particular model if you go against code or if you follow tag code ,so someone is messed up,and code have to be in one line for vintage particular model to match model, but in short note THIS IS FAKE

Item 3 is original bag 100%, but not from 2010 as state in the receipt showing on the photos ,so either seller want to fake you and lie, because bag is made 20 years ago, so bag is legitimate but recipient doesn't go with bag as no way that Gucci shop on the whole world will sell bag from 30 years ago as a new in the store ,even Jubilee collection they keep for month tops.
