Hi! I bought this from an online website and I don't know if this is real. The leather really smells and leaves a residual smell on my fingers after I touch it. I did not find a tag inside and the paddles don't have have any logo on it. The zippers are extremely difficult to open and do not open smoothly. How do I tell if this is real?

This is authentic. Looks like a repair was done in the past; they will go through an inner pocket to get to the area that needs repair and do not always stitch it back the way it was. Even BV artisans won't always do this 'properly' and sometimes even the tag is lost if that whole pocket is replaced.

I’ve never seen anything like this - though it looks like a Celine Trio, lol - but without a photo of the authenticity tag, there’s no way to tell. Sorry.

Based on the numbers on the tag, I would say not authentic. If you can provide a clearer closeup shot of the tag, I could say for sure.
