Hi all,
(original post #15) Sorry to repost this again.....I am a little bit anxious about my purchase as the item didn't come with security tag and I read the whole RLL post (fake item) after I bought this bag.
I would really love any help authenticating this bag and see if I should contact them for return/refund!!!!!

I'm no expert in authenticating.. so we're going to need a second opinion on this but something looks off to me on this Bal :S

I would definitely like to have second opinion for this bag.....(original post #15 and #62)
I received the bag without security tag when the concierge emailed me back indicated that when they mail out the bag, the security tag was there.....I doubt it.....

Anyway, anyone, please help me this bag...

The City looks good so far. Would need rivet and bale pics to authenticate

The First looks to be authentic to me. :smile:

Ideally, I'd like to see the entire back of the leather tag to feel completely confident. However, all else looks good. I see no red flags.

Thank you for your confidence, but this is a situation where more than one opinion should be noted. It is possible that Balenciaga has become less stringent with quality control, and the features that alarm me are within a more relaxed range of acceptability.

Balenciaga will have no part in helping with authentication. For bags that are not precisely identical to the "norm," re-sellers and buyers are going to be at risk.

Without evidence of bags with these different features, coming directly from Balenciaga and their boutiques, we can not be completely certain about them.

Thank you Conni! I couldn't agree more, as I said I have purchased my Bal bags through Barneys and never run into this problem. The Bal bag from the auction still had a Neimans tag on it. When I asked the seller about the authenticity, she said her bf got it from Neimans, so I sent it back to that store, hopefully they will be able to do an exchange for the same color. If not, I will be sending it back to the seller and filing a fraud claim on ebay.

I did call a Bal store in CA and they weren't that much help, and I really appreciate being able to come here with my questions! I do think it is entirely possible as you suggested, that it may very well be a quality control issue within Bal. And if it is, this isn't acceptable to me, especially when Im spending over 1k per bag!
