She says she likes BV (as do I), but she can't be too familiar with leather quality, if she can't tell the fake Betty from the real one (and I bet the Doughnut zip pulls are off, too!).
I do think she has a right to her opinion, though.
I adored Chloe when Phoebe was in full swing, about three years ago, but I can't say I've been as enamoured with Chloe, in the last couple of years. I can appreciate the bags since then, on others, but I have not really been tempted to buy (until very recently)...
Since then, I've been more attracted to other designers' accessories; like Tom Ford for YSL, Alexander McQueen, Roberto Cavalli, Bottega Veneta and Derek Lam.
TBH, I think Chloe's got a bit too dreary and school mam-ish in the last couple of seasons and that the clothes, even when more embellished, have lost much of their, subtle, sex appeal. I'm a bit of a rebel at heart and I want my accessories to reflect that!
I also lived through the mid '90s to early noughties, wearing seemingly endless, minimally styled clothes and accessories and I'm really not ready to revisit minimalism yet. I often dress fairly plainly and I want a bit of opulence and beauty in my accessories.
I do love my new Elfie, though and I really like the new Fanny clutch.
