Atelier Naff hates Chloe' Bags!

Chloe's definitely not for everyone. It is hard to tell some fake Chloe's from real ones due to Chloe's lack of quality control. That said, I still have to say that nothing beats Chloe's scrumptuousness when the leather is yummy!

Thanks for the link. Very interesting. Good info Bbag girls!
This blogger seems to apparently have a problem with a lot of designers bags other than Balenciaga. Amazing dedication to her favorite bag. Good for her.

She says she likes BV (as do I), but she can't be too familiar with leather quality, if she can't tell the fake Betty from the real one (and I bet the Doughnut zip pulls are off, too!). :shrugs:

I do think she has a right to her opinion, though.

I adored Chloe when Phoebe was in full swing, about three years ago, but I can't say I've been as enamoured with Chloe, in the last couple of years. I can appreciate the bags since then, on others, but I have not really been tempted to buy (until very recently)...

Since then, I've been more attracted to other designers' accessories; like Tom Ford for YSL, Alexander McQueen, Roberto Cavalli, Bottega Veneta and Derek Lam.

TBH, I think Chloe's got a bit too dreary and school mam-ish in the last couple of seasons and that the clothes, even when more embellished, have lost much of their, subtle, sex appeal. I'm a bit of a rebel at heart and I want my accessories to reflect that!

I also lived through the mid '90s to early noughties, wearing seemingly endless, minimally styled clothes and accessories and I'm really not ready to revisit minimalism yet. I often dress fairly plainly and I want a bit of opulence and beauty in my accessories.

I do love my new Elfie, though and I really like the new Fanny clutch.

I so agree with you about that new fanny clutch. When I was in Chicago I saw many of the new seasons' bags except that one........I really wanted to see in IRL because the picture is adorable.

In the last few weeks I've been wanting a real "it" clutch and then you presented this Fanny bag and I knew it was the one.:hysteric:

^ I showed my BF the Fanny on NAP and he hated it (and not because of the name!)!

Mind you, he often hates things until he sees them in person and gets used to them.

I don't let that stop me!

LouiseyPeasey (creater of Atelier Naff) is a really sweet person and I think she writes pretty well. So what if she doesn't like Chole? I, for one, hate monogram LV and Gucci with a passion, so sue me!

She also kind of ditched (my) Coach, but it wasn't as bad. Heck, I'm giving up a lot of Coach for my love of Chloe'.

The site is great, my favorite article so far is the one on Spys. I love how she does pictures.

LP has done a great job of capturing details on the Balenciaga bags and has saved numerous TPFers from purchasing fake bags, I think she deserves our respect for that. Everyone has likes and dislikes on bags. I happen to like Chloe and Balenciaga but everyone has a right to their own opinions.

I wasn't trying to start hate on AtelierNaff, it was merely an alert and start on discussion - sort of like Chloe' news around the web. I'm loyal to our Chloe' board, so I post when I find things.:nuts:

I was sort of expecting arguments against her points, actually. Like the obvious, hey my Paddy only weights 4 lbs with lock - lol - not 27. But that's too obvious.
