I've been looking at Aspinal's website and the London Tote looks interesting but I'm wondering how the wear and tear is, especially the corners. It looks like a pretty soft leather .
Does anyone have this bag, or an Aspinal bag to comment on their quality?

I know there was someone...I think the Asprey Harbour

I can't see any totes on my site-view apart from Harbour and generic 'Tote' (see below). Can you post a pic of the 'London'. I've tried on quite a few Asprey bags, obviously they don't put them on all on their UK site.

Is this the tote?

I’ve been looking at this bag too. The other leather goods I’ve purchased from Aspinal have held up very well, but I’ve not purchased a bag.

Did you decide on the tote A bottle of Red?

I purchased the larger version of the tote (in chalkhill blue) quite a while back. Unfortunately I left it in its box for so long, typical me, so I decided to part with it. Whilst I can’t comment on the durability of this particular tote, I do love AoL and personally haven’t encountered any issues with my bags. I sometimes feel AoL is a forgotten/undervalued brand.

After showing you the white hobo, ive decided it’s going to be my next purchase but in pool blue

So in the end I decided against Aspinal because I read a lot of mixed/negative reviews and I really didn't like the linings that I saw online.
I also realize I need a zipper too so the hunt is ongoing.

In case anyone is curious, I bought the midi london tote for my mom a couple of years ago. She uses it every day and is not gentle with it. It is still like new. I have several aspinal bags and adore them. The only one I probably wouldn't buy over again is the mini Paris, which has limited capacity when the sides are folded in. Lottie forever <3 <3

have you considered the zip bayswater from Mulberry?
Not this bag in particular but I was in a department store during my recent travels and I didn't like the mulberry leather. I didn't care for most of the brands leathers.
I did find a few bags I like but way out of the price I'm looking to spend right now. So hopefully my bag will hold on a bit longer!

Sorry for reviving an old post, but I own a couple Aspinal bags (black Hobo and choc brown metallic London Midi Tote, also a card holder). For the price, I think the quality is excellent. With both bags, the leather is butter soft and they look luxe. As I'm on their email list, I wait and purchase when I get notifications of a discount code, for instance I recently bought the Midi Tote with 20% off so paid £460 instead of £575. I do admire the more structured Mayfairs and Lotties, but I tend to be very casual so I go more for totes and slouchier bags with jeans. Personally I really like Aspinal - perhaps brands like Loewe and Bottega are slightly better quality with more innovative designs but then you are paying 5 x the price!
