I haven't seen one IRL but i used to go to the forum on betterthandiamond.com to read up on simulants such as Asha, moissanite, other hand-cut CZs, etc. I read several posts over a few years and to me it seemed like:
Asha round is nothing like typical CZs you see everywhere and performs far better than a lot of diamonds you see on the street or in jewellery stores like People's, Kay Jewellers, Costco, etc. HOWEVER, it won't look as nice as the finest cut diamond.
I read Asha asschers look very realistic, much better than most asscher cz's out there... There was someone who owned Asha asscher and real diamonds and if I remember correctly, she said the Asha asscher looked pretty darn real.
The newest version has better diamond coating, lower colour and inclusions visible under a loop...
