When my kids were small, I preferred to carry totes. MK has some really nice totes. However, I would still carry other bags, as long as they were big enough and the strap was long enough to be worn crossbody.

However, I question the authenticity of the bag you linked. Please post the link in the "authenticate this" thread up top. Those lovely ladies will be able to help you authenticate it.....:smile1:

Looks like it has a crossbody strap which would leave your hands free. Personally i always preferred to dump my purse in my strollers lol

I truly think you would be best to either try on in store or at least ensure good return polices in case it just doesn't work...

I have both a n/s and e/w hamilton in the quilted hippie grommet, my only issue would be that the coated leather is a little bit delicate IMO only. Babies spill, upchuck, kick your bag while carrying them on your hip, throw purses, YES, I've had that happen on occasion. That leather is meant to be "babied" but not the kind you speak of LOL! I think its sort of a bad choice, now without the baby out and about your good!! I thought this particular style only came in red but my hammies are red and black so I guess the mk boutique only carried the red in this style.

Actually, that is a really cute and sexy looking bag! For me that would be more for a night out on the town bag, or on a date.. It's not very matronly for every day with the baby. Don't you want something that will carry both of your stuff? MK has some really nice looking larger bags that you could use for both you and the baby. That way you wouldn't have to carry two bags. one for each of you. Did you read the measurements? It is really super small, only 9 inches wide X 6 inches tall. That is almost the size of a clutch! In fact, there are clutches that are bigger than that. I think that bag is more for dress, than for casual.

But if you want to look sexy while carrying the baby around, that will do it! Is a really HOT looking bag! Love it!

While this is a cute bag, I would not be able to use it with a baby (I have 4 babies...haha). As CinthiaZ mentioned above me, it's pretty small. Not sure how you'd fit both you and your baby's things in there. I'd go more the route of one of MK's totes or even the n/s Hamilton. I just bought a medium Jet Set tote that I plan to use with my new little one. It doesn't have any lining on the inside so it'll be easy for me to keep clean.
