My birthday is quickly approaching and I really want to treat myself. I really like the Artsy, it is gorgeous. However, I am afraid it might overwhelm me. I am 5'4 and I'm afraid that the size may be too much. I like the Graceful especially because it is offered in DE. Help!!! I really like them both.

I love the look of the Artsy but I prefer a shoulder bag and the Artsy just doesn’t stay on the shoulder with that rolled strap. I adore my Graceful MM in DE.
The Artsy is gorgeous but that strap I feel would be more of a struggle than the Graceful.

Graceful better for your size. It’s a great bag.
I'm 5'6 and felt the Artsy overwhelmed me. Go for the Graceful in DE, I think you'll be happier for it.

+1 agree. Artsy is a nice looking bag, but geesh the strap can become uncomfortable on your shoulder after wearing for a short while. Also, I'm 5'1" and I thought the Artsy overpowered me. I prefer the Graceful

I'm 5'4" with a small frame and have an artsy. I got a bandouliere strap so I could wear it as a longer shoulder bag + crossbody. Artsy on me isn't overwhelming. It wears so much better than On The Go GM. I think since artsy has a more relaxed shape, you don't see it first vs. OTG with it's boxy and rigid shape, and large mono. If you have a store near you, I would try Artsy and Graceful and see which one you like more. Not all big bags are the same, so you'll see there are some you can get away with, and others you can't. If you don't have a store, I would order the artsy, since it seems like you like that one more. You'll know easily and quickly in the mirror if artsy doesn't suit you.
My biggest issue is the weight of artsy. It hurts my shoulders at the end of the day, but so does my neonoe when it it's full. Artsy has become mainly a travel bag for me. It fits a lot, and if I'm at the airport/airplane, I sit around mostly. It doesn't really matter if my bags are heavier than usual.

I have both and I love them equally. However, the graceful is a better option for an everyday due to the drop and the strap. The artsy can be an everyday bag too, but when it’s brand new the bag sits under your armpit and doesn’t have much drop which can be a little weird at first. I suggest to get both
Hi! I have been carrying my LV Hampstead MM in Damier as a throw (whatever I need in it) and go since 2008. I have been forced to retire her since she's now falling apart. I have been looking for another everyday bag that I can throw over my shoulder that's easy to carry. I winded up getting the Graceful MM in Damier 2 weeks ago.
I didn't love the Graceful at first because the sales associate sold me the PM (that's the only size they had in store) which I returned. The PM wasn't enough bag for me. I felt like some bag was missing. I'm 5'6" about 120 lbs. I'm also used to carrying bigger totes. Plus it only has one interior pocket with zipper and I felt it was a little plain. Wasn't thrilled with shape when it was sitting there empty. It just wasn't doing it for me. I decided to purchase the MM in Damier anyway, and I'm so glad I did. I have grown an appreciation of her classy simplicity with gold pops of hardware. I took her out for the first time this weekend and wanted to share.
It wasn't an easy decision because I was torn between the Graceful MM Damier, Graceful MM Monogram, and the Artsy MM Monogram. I have them all sitting in my closet and can't keep all 3. I decided to maybe keep 2 out of the 3. I haven't had the monogram print in years and do miss it at times. I was leaning toward the Artsy MM Mono because of it's beautiful detail, interior lining and plenty of interior pockets but it's not as comfortable and I don't know if I can get through the break-in period and if it will actually break in nicely. As far as the Graceful MM Mono, I don't know if I really want the same bag in different print. I plan to return one by next week or may even return both. If I wind up returning both I will look for another LV bag or consider another brand. Please let me know your thoughts to help me decide.

Since u have the Graceful MM in DE, which is gorgeous and carefree, I'd keep the Artsy!
