Anyone up for this?
We have it in our handbags forum and I know a lot of us have taken fun botanical pics {or other} of our new baubles when we got them.

Wanna share them here?:D

oh erica, every time i see your gorgeous ring i just  honestly, it is the most exquisite ring i have ever seen!

i will try to take some photos of mine but right now we have a foot of snow on the ground, and i think my ring would get lost! lol

swanky, where are your shots? :graucho:

yea! I knew you'd have some! I have some on my other computer, I'll post some later!
Keep them coming - fun w/ all the holiday decor in your homes, try it!

I thought it might be fun to do a funny picture with one of my pieces. This is a porcelain planter that is filled with freshly dried Asparagus Fern. The planter's name..........is Fern. Around her neck is my Hermes Potiron, Hapi wrap bracelet!!!!!!!

OMG...Erica, how do you take such gorgeous pics? Better then most magazines!!!

Awwww...shucks :shame:

I have a great camera - it's a Canon Powershot G9. Set it to macro mode (the little flower icon), no flash, lots and lots of bright daylight, then make sure both the camera and the object you're photographing are very still. For each good shot I must take about 20 which turn out blurry, so snap a ton of pics if you hope to get one or two great ones.
