Armani made in China?

I recently purchased a jacket from emporio armani. I looked at the tag and it said made in China. What gives? Their items used to be made in Italy. Is this legit?

Emporio Armani is a diffusion line. They make lots of items in Asia.

As far as I know, only Giorgio Armani line are almost all made in their own factory outside Milan, other lines (Emporio Armani ,Armani Collezioni, Armani Jeans and some others) have various Made-in-XXX tags. Made in China is not what is what you think it used to be, more and more factories are capable of producing high-class products. For example, many designer brands produce their clothes in Bulgaria & some east Europe countries like Acne, but sometimes the factories there couldn't meet the strict EU standards so the brands have to send their order to China. What is really low-quality today is made in Bangladesh or Indonesia.
