Argh do I keep this bag or not?

Ive posted this in the Mulberry forum as well but I thought I'd get more objective advice here.

Received my beautiful preloved Alexa yesterday in black soft buffalo. The bag is stunning but I have a new baby and its just too heavy to wear crossbody. I was thinking that I could use it when I go back to work but then I think maybe something like a Longchamp Le Pliage would be more practical (certainly would be lighter).

Please help! If I'm going to return it I will do so today.

It's a lovely bag but if it's too heavy it will probably stay in its dustbag.
I would not keep it.

I have this bag in purple but don't find it heavy at all and it wears like iron. Gets softer and nicer with age. LePliage if you are looking for a super light bag. I bought the medium handbag size ones for my daughters, who both use them for work. The zipper is very useful when tossing a bag into the car or carrying on public transit.

i'd return it, just because you already said yourself it's "too heavy." go with your first gut instinct or you might regret it later.

It's very nice indeed but go with you inner voice
