I would also call this type bag a messenger bag.

D&B carry some really cute canvas ones.

I would look for the KVZ (PVC) bags too. Try QVC, just type in messenger
bags in the search bar.

I just got a coated canvas multicolor and I am not sure how I like it yet. I adore the LOOK of the bag... Not sure about the feel of it or how it will wear.....
