Are the studded bags a smart way to go?

I just purchased an RM Grape Studded Nikki tonight and I'm being a bit neurotic. I love the bag, it looks beautiful, I'm just worried the studs will come off.

I know that sounds stupid, RM's bags are made extremely well, but ya know mis-haps happen. Has anyone ever had a problem with their studded bags?

Actually I have had 2 studded RM bags, a devote and a Nikki and the studs on the devote was perfectly fine, however, they were moving around on the Nikki. Not like they were gonna come of, just spinning around. I still think it would of been fine though.

I think I've only read one thread about somone having a stud coming off, wich was bad for her, but great regarding quality concerns.

It should be ok, but if there is a defect RM will take care of your bag.

yeah i've only read one thing on here about studs falling off. i think if you love the bag it's worth the risk

The gold studs really look GOOD against the grape leather!!!


Hopefully you will not have a problem. RM should be able to take care of it for you if something happens.

I own several RM bags with studs and so far no issues with any of the studs coming off.
(Lemon crush, grape Studded MAM, Rocker)

I have several studded RM bags also, and no stud loss yet! I do confess that I compulsively check that I'm not leaving a trail of studs behind me though...
