Do you still need to put leather conditioner/cleaner on the cedar street maise? What is the material of the leather? Is it saffiano?

I have a grove court maise in pebbled leather and a cedar street maise in saffiano. I've never used leather cleaner on either of them, but then, I baby my bags and rotate them a lot, so if you know you're tough on your bags, then yeah, you might want to use it.

Noted. Btw, i think this is off topic but have you seen the cedar street maise in rosy dawn and mint? Which is better in person?

I have the Maise in ballet slipper pink, and I've never had a color transfer problem. But I also don't wear jeans very often, which seems to be the #1 culprit for staining. It probably wouldn't hurt to take precaution, but I surprisingly don't need to baby the Maise for it to still look great. (Maybe it's the saffiano leather?) Then again, I switch my bags every day, so that undoubtedly helps.

That is my concern actually. I wore jeans a lot. Looking for a girly bag so I think maise in light color is a good option.

I had color transfer on mine in Rosy Dawn. The customer service line said it was covered under warranty because that shouldn't have happened. My local store let me exchange it for a brand new Maise in a darker color (one that is part of the fall collection and wasn't even on display yet).
