Are sellers protected on Bonanzle?

I am negotiating the sale of a more expensive item on Bonanzle, and wants to ensure sellers are protected. I purchased an item on Bonanzle a few weeks ago that unfortunately had to be returned to the seller, and at the time, someone on TPF told me that even though buyers pay via paypal, you are no protected. This concerned me, and I want to ensure there aren't any pitfalls for sellers.

Yes. Sellers are protected, but buyer's aren't...not with the same buyer protection offered on the bay. Bonanzle is better for sellers; fBay is better for buyers...

They're protected by the same PP seller's protection that covers their fBay transactions. This applies to sellers in the U.S. For info outside the US, go to your PP account and check out the seller's protection info there.

Sellers can also ask for and receive different payment methods on Bonanzle, some of which may be safer than paypal.
