Thanks! I think the girl on chanel.com phone line was new or something, because when I said "cambon" she had no idea what I was talking about and ended up searching for the WOC by the item # I read off from the website. I'm hoping one will pop up sometime, I love the bright pink lining!!

I recently purchased a Cambon WOC from a reputable reseller and I'm over the moon happy with it. Call me insecure, but I don't like telling certain friends (some I am honest with) that I bought it used. If someone were to ask for details, should I be aware that the line is discontinued? As in, "when did you get that?"

And, while I'm at it, I also purchased two (I love them!) Medallions. Anyone know when they were discontinued? I actually wore my black Medallion into a Chanel boutique and the SA swooned over it. Well, more like a sigh of nostalgia, I think.

I carried the WOC into Bergdorf and Goodman and another shopper and I started talking. She was about to purchase a $3000 dinner bag, and she changed her mind and asked for a WOC...the SA said there was no way she'd get a Cambon like mine, but she acted like they were hard to find, not discontinued. Funny thing is, I had already told the nice fellow shopper they were discontinued-was I wrong?

I thought the WOC Cambon was the one with the CC in patent stitched on it? If yes -> they had them in Amsterdam in 3 colors like 4 months ago so then it's not discontinued.

If it's not the bag I'm talking about please post a pic :p

I saw one in April this year - SA didn't mention it was discontinued. It was funny because she tried to push the sale for this WOC over the quilted one because she liked the bright pink interior :)

Ok, thanks. That makes sense about the SA in NY, who shook her head that mine would be impossible to get, but she never implied discontinued. And yes, I love the pink interior! It's a splash of fun. I am really enjoying my WOC. :) And yes, SweetNavi-that is the correct one.
