Are all Faure Le Page bags made in France?

Mine is from France. :heart:
I have heard that Fauré Le Page make bags both in France and Spain. Best countries in Europe for leather goods... :tup::tup::tup::tup:
The sale associate told me also taht the canevas is painted in France

Don't worry about it, its still a beautiful high quality bag :-)

Fewer and fewer companies are making everything in France, and living in France and seeing the super high social tax's on employers I can understand. Even Louis Vuitton and Chanel bags are not all made in France anymore!

Not because its my favorite brand, but the only brand where 100% of all bags are made in France remains Hermes.

I was slightly disappointed to see mine is made in Spain. I expect it from LV and Chanel as they have to produce so many but Faure Le Page is still a relatively small company.

One curious thing is that on the tag it states made in France on the front of the tag (under Faure Le Page) but the made in Spain states made in Spain on the back of the same tag and nothing is written under Faure Le Page. They aren't exactly hiding it but the made in Spain sign is not as obvious! It took me few day's to realise where the made in was.

Anyway I still believe my bag is very high quality.

i felt the exact same way. i was so disappointed and even considered returning but then i realized that i loved the style and the quality and i am not sorry that i kept mine. i love it.

My Faure Le Page I got is a gem. Everything about this brand is so French. They don`t have hangups about where they make their bags - I asked them. Basically one of the best places in the world for leather is Spain. So parts of the leather details come from there and the painted canvas and realisation remains in France.
