are all amazon items authentic?

i did a search, and could not find anything on it, but i was wondering if everything sold on amazon authentic? i know they sell things from other sites.. but how do they guarantee authenticity?

I would assume most are unless you have a situation where a buying returned a switched item? My husband bought me a cartier roadster on there for xmas (sold by amazon, not a 3rd party) and it was authentic. He took the watch apart to make sure the insides were real, and they were!

Absolutely not. I've seen many fake high-end designer names for sale on Amazon by its 3rd-party vendors, including fake Burberry and Hermes.

Yes - I have seen tons of fakes on Amazon. Buyer beware.

i was interested in buying reading glass frames from a 3rd party on amazon. i just didnt know how legit it was since it was for so cheap!
