  2. Item: Authentic HERMES 30 cm Birkin Bag
    Listing: 300643595557
    Seller: designerdesigner-2007

In my opinion it is an authentic bag. Seller did not do a great job with the additional pictures of the zipper, but I do not see anything that concerns me about the bag in any of the pictures that are posted.

  3. Thank you so much for your time!

  4. Hi! I'm relatively new to the Hermes thread so I don't know a lot about the brand yet but I really liked this clutch but I did read that Hermes doesn't overlook minor details like a missing accent over the second E which I noticed in this listing, but the seller seems pretty reputable on the forum in general. Can anyone look at this clutch for me? Thank you!

  5. This is authentic in my opinion. I actually own several Jige clutches, including one in Ebene box leather, exactly like this. The date stamp looks in the picture like I in a circle, or 1979. I am not bothered in this instance by the missing grave accent, it can happen, particularly on older pieces.

Can someone please help me authenticate this Hermes Birkin 35 Gris bag I found on Craigslist?

Item: Hermes Birkin Gris Tourterelle- REDUCED*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ - $3500 (NW Houston)
    Seller: Found on Craigslist Houston
Bag History: She bought it from a high end resale shop in Palm Beach, Fl

Seller has emailed me these pics so far. As she sends me more, i will be updating. One thing worries me...the interior lining piping is black instead of dark brown like I see in other Hermes Birkin bags.

    Thanks in advance.

  9. The pictures show two different bags, the majority of the views show a bag which is not authentic. Don't bother further with this seller would be my advice. I have said it before, but I do recommend you discard craigslist as a source of authentic bags.

  10. I am very sorry, but I personally prefer to focus my volunteer time on members who contribute in a more general way to tPF than just the authentication threads. I suggest you take the bag to Hermes in Chicago and ask for their help, in particular you asked about cleaning the handles I believe? They can advise you what to do.

  11. So sorry, but the seller needs to get more organized. Nothing we need to see is shown, no Hermes stamp, no blind stamp, no interior picture that shows anything visible. Not clear to me why they say the stamp is O in a square if bag bought in 2005, probably not looking at the right thing?

Auction ends in 5 hours, if the bag comes back to eBay I hope there is a better presentation of it.
