Even though it's called a Zippy Coin Purse...I've never put coins in mine. I'm not really sure where the coins would go? There's no specific compartment inside for coins, really. I use the slots for my credit cards, and the center pocket for my driver's license and insurance cards, and I put my folded cash on either side of the center pocket. My coins are carried separately in my round coin purse.
