Anyone with a Stella McCartney Falabella Foldover bag?

Hello everyone. I just purchased a preloved Stella McCartney Falabella Fold Over Tote in the Shaggy Deer "suede like" fabric. I never was interested in purchasing this brand before as I didn't see the value in it at the retail prices but in the preloved market, the price was not bad so I decided to purchase one in navy blue with gold hardware combo. How do I maintain the new like appearance it has? Does the Shaggy Deer fabric and gold hardware wear well? Has anyone sprayed it with a water repellant? This bag is so flimsy but BEAUTIFUL! LOL. I hope I don't regret my purchase. Did yours become a headache as it's so flimsy? I will use SLGs and pouches for my items so it shouldn't become a big deal retrieving my items out of my bag. Here's photos. Any tips or guidance will be appreciated. :)

Oh great! Glad to hear the fabric is durable. :) I'm excited to go use it today! No where but errands which should make my errands fun to do! Lol. Thank you for replying! :) Do you know what year my bag was made? I purchased from Fashionphile and they do not give a date on the bag. Just curious on how old it is. Here is my tag in case you are able to read them. Thanks again! :)

Yes that would be nice to get a discussion going!!

I enjoyed my new (to me) Falabella bag today! It is a bit different of a bag for me as it has absolutely no structure when you place the bag down but I am discovering if you have your items in SLGs or pouches, it's really not a big deal. I just grab the top handles to pick up to avoid unnecessary wear on the fabric. I know you said you don't baby yours however I tend to baby all my
bags so it just comes naturally, so mine should last forever! Lol. Thank you for the conversation and taking time away from your day/night to answer my questions. Have a great rest of the week and weekend! :)

Yes I loved my navy with gold hardware that I just purchased a black on black foldover that I purchased from Fashionphile however there are some differences with the construction of both bags. It concerns me that they are slightly different even though they are the same bags and just 2 years apart. My navy one has really defined diamond cuts on the gold chain. On my black chain it it not that defined and the weight of the chain is even lighter in weight. Also the Stella disc charm on the gold says Stella McCartney on both sides but on the black one, 1 side has Stella McCartney and the other side is blank. Even the dustbags are different. Again there are only 2 year between the two. Have you noticed this?
