So.. I had the chance to go to the mall today and went into my first MK boutique. SO AWESOME!!!!

I saw the distressed leather and the Hamilton in Claret up close and personal and all I can say is YUM YUM YUM!!!

So.. I walked away from there with a little something?

Anyone wanna see? SLow tease of instant strip?:D

And oh yes.. touching it is an amazing treat. Seriously.. it is SOOOO much softer than you would think by looking at it. It feels like a cross between soft buttery leather and suede. Oh yeah.. Mmmmmmmmmmm.... YUMMO!!!

trying to get photos of the inside and so you can get a feel with cards in it... It is hard to see it on the website..last one!!!

So it is like a gold tan color on the inside and just so lovely. I fell in love when I went there. I HAD to leave with something Hamilton and I was not ready to get a bag today. But I can tell you, MK is SOOOO on my wish list now!!!

Updates, I called the gal back at Macys and she is putting the MK bag that I liked on hold as well. WOOOO HOOOOO... So when I go on Sat, I get a Coach and MK bag!!! I *hope* I get it. :-)

Wallet is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it!!! So please - which MK are you getting and which Coach?? I love both brands!! Did you see a distressed Hamilton IRL??

If you had to choose between distressed and claret - which would it be
?? Oh wait - you already have the claret don't you? So you probably can't help me with that question. :p

I love your wallet though - congrats and thanks so much for posting all the pics!!!

Thank you! Yes I have a pic posted on my other thread. I cannot post it now be because I am not on my computer. It is the MK Hamilton Joan Knox bag. Looks like a dome shape with a detachable strap. Black and silver. They had a red too but I passed because I prefer the red of the Claret Hamilton. So I have that on my wish list. That is a tough choice. I wanted the purple but I already have 3 purple bags so I figured time for other colors.


Oh and I got the pewter woven small leather Sophia. Loved it. So shiny..... Great size perfect in fact for me. With lots of room to spare.
Well I think it all depends. The distressed if def TDF very new and trendy. Brown, black with orange undertones and golden hardware.
the Claret is a deep rich burgundy wine color. Not a bright red at all. The distressed feels very different a cross between super soft leather and suede. I would def go and have a feel if you are able too. I did nit think I would care for the distressed leather and it was amazing. I got that wallet because I felt the other black ,white, and even purple colors will be around a bit longer and the distressed might sell out and I will be sorry.

The claret is simply gorgeous. Are you in need of a nice red leather? What is your wardrobe? Sorry I am no help here. It was fun to see these all for the first time.
