Anyone still have their Portobello GM?

I've been wanting a Portobello GM for a work bag. It's such a gorgeous design! I finally found a preloved excellent condition piece from 2012. I have thoroughly inspected the bag and happy that it doesn't have the dreades cracks.

Are there any long time Portobello GM owners here who has not had cracks on the bag? I was thinking (or hoping!) that since the bag is already 9 years old, there are still pieces produces from this model that were not defective.

My portobello didn’t have any cracks, but mainly because I rarely used it. I’m a small bag person, so I found it too big for me and the zipper was a bit awkward to open and close the bag. But it’s a gorgeous bag and I was sad to sell it!

Mine cracked eventually. I believe they all will do that due to design. The one you got looks barely used.

Yes you're right.. This really looks barely used and might not have had the chance to go thru the "stress test". Maybe it's just a matter of time. Quite sad if it does crack eventually as the bag is gorgeous!
