Thoughts? Recollections?

I have no idea why but I found his visit very emotional. I am a lapsed Catholic at best but for some reason found great comfort with him here even though it was a true inconvenience traffic and congestion wise. Saw him in the Popemobile on 5th. Ave. and am really glad I did....anyone else?

He was right in my neighborhood on Friday and then not far on 5th on Saturday which is where I saw him and was close enough to get decent video. Seems much warmer than I imagined him to be and especially liked that he paid his respects and blessed ground zero.

He's not in my area, but I have thought about what it would be like to see him in person, I would love to experience that. I'm also Catholic but I haven't been to church in a few years, but the thought of being in the Pope's presence seems, to me anyway, that it would be emotional (as you said). Does anyone know if he'll be in the Southern California region while in the U.S.?
