Many years ago when they were first an “ it” bag I bought a Chloe bag off EBay - the seller was Roz7777 ( as close as I can remember) This person had a good rep, a few on the Vogue Australia forum had bought from her etc. Anyway, I just decided to sell the unused Chloe. Guess what it’s a fake. :cursing: First Authenticator said they couldn’t confirm and refunded my payment, Second one just said fake. This seller sold a lot of Chloe, I’m guessing they were all high quality replicas.

That sucks :( Do you still have access to your eBay account?

I still have the same EBay account but searching for any variant of the sellers name doesn’t bring up anything. I’d say the account was closed years ago.:frown:
I just tried using the search bar and it doesn't work. I'm looking for the seller's name in my eBay purchase history (I mean, another seller's name, not connected with the Chloe seller), and it shows nothing - even though it's spelled correctly, and I can see it right there in the list of my purchases. You should try looking for the seller manually, by scrolling through all the newer purchases.

Yes - their search function is not great. I tried looking in my feedback but there’s a LOT and can’t list oldest first. Some old sales feedback just have a number and “@ deleted”. Annoying!

Found the seller. None of the links work though. There’s actually old threads in this forum saying she’s trustworthy Chloe seller.

Could it be that the authenticator was wrong? Not all of them are trustworthy, especially when it comes to older bags. I recommend you post the pictures in the Authenticate this Chloe thread and ask Roie55 to look at it.

Yes Normally I would think that too, it concerns me though the first Authenticator said they couldn’t authenticate and quickly refunded money, and then the second one came back with “ inconsistent fonts” and “ inconsistent hardware”. Thanks for the tip - I will see if I can post pics here. Maybe it’s simply because it is old ( but looks new) and they are comparing it to newer models.:confused1:
