anyone planning on ordering or have gotten the model citizen yet?

I really love the look of this bag, but I'm so afraid of the short straps. Anyone planning on taking the plunge?

I put one of those in my cart when MHB got them in, but chickened out because of the short straps! I really like the bag, though.

I loveeeeeeeeeeeeee this bag and I think it was MEANT to be a shoulder bag... unfortunately it is not thus it's a no go for me! *sigh*

This bag is pretty. It looks the most "polished" of Tano's bags IMHO (from what I can gather from the website pictures). The strap/trim edges seem finished and not raw. It has a pretty shape, the velvet leather looks thick and luscious. Unfortunately it is just not my style of bag (I'm more of a sack gal) and the straps look like they would fall prey to the "2 handle curse". If anyone gets one, I'd love to see pics.
